Wednesday June 3rd at 9:06am. Beets excellent at $3 a lb. Same with turnips. No slicing tomatoes yet. Estimate next week for a few. Week after that for plenty. June 1st 9:06am. Some of this will sell out around 1pm I would guess but open 8am-6pm at 22475 Gilmore Ranch Rd. including u pick sugar snap peas. Just a reminder on the beautiful nasturtiums, they taste very similar to arugula, a little bit of a peppery kick good as an accent in sandwich or salad probably not as the entire salad. Sample prices beets and beets with greens at $3 a lb very good value cilantro at $1 for store bunch size dill at $1 for 7 or 8 sprigs lettuce at $2 a head for smaller medium heads very good nasturtiums and chard at $1 for a large handful. Great value. Zucchini and cucumbers at $3 a lb but very very good tender and fresh. Price likely will come down some as supply increases but have to keep it up to pay for greater early season production costs and to keep it from selling out with the first customer. When tomatoes come in expect prices up some from last year for the same reasons.
