Move to Cone Grove Park official!

Yesterday, Tuesday January 24, the Tehama County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Civil War Days' request to use Cone Grove Park. This action will allow us to move ahead with planning this year's event.
Other good news includes: Green Waste of Tehama has agreed to placing a dumpster near the event site free of charge. The local Kiwanis club has indicated strong interest in returning to Civil War Days, as they had last year, to provide lunch for reenactors during school day and to operate a snack/food table during the weekend's event to enhance visitor experience.
The committee is now working on acquiring new signage reflective of the new location and to replace the large event banner which hangings above Main Street in Red Bluff leading up to the event; the current banner being worn out and unusable.
