I lost respect for you and Krista when you allowed Krista to accept contributions from her subordinate staff. When you allowed your dept staff to go from department to department collecting signatures for Krista during the county work day.
Even if your people were on a break (which I highly doubt) the people you were approaching were not. In addition, your office staff are made to wear Krista Perterson shirts and go with her to every event. Can't you see how that could be considered coercion? What if they have other things to do or don't really want to go?
Your office should not be campsign headquarters. How many violations of county policy and election law are you allowing to be violated? All of that, and in addition to the potential liability claims you are creating for the county.
Shame on you!
