RISE Performing Arts Center

Hello dancers and dance families! What a wonderful year we had this season at RISE! I cannot believe that this will be the 7th summer session and season for RISE.

Since 2018, we have collectively experienced some high highs and low lows. For me personally, the pandemic and losing my husband has changed my entire world. When Darren and I set out to open RISE Performing Arts Center we had big dreams of dance along with music, art, and theater. While that dream has not died, there have been some things that have had to shift when my business partner (and the musical one of us) went to heaven. It has been an incredible few years in Red Oak, and I am deeply grateful for all the connections that we have made in this town.

It is time for a new step, a new chapter of RISE. And I truly could not be more excited! Starting June 15, 2024 we will no longer be called RISE Performing Arts Center, but will be rebranding to Rise Dance Collective. Our mission will still be the same, to train revolutionary dancers in integrity, strength, and excellence. The business model will change slightly as we transition to a new location in Lancaster, TX. I am thankful for Paula at Zeal Dance Force for opening her studio doors for us to utilize her amazing space. In this new season of Rise, I hope that I am able to be more present and focused to provide an even better dance education to your dancers.

I hope that you are as excited for this new season as I am! If you have been with me from the beginning, THANK YOU for your unwavering support through these crazy last few years. If you are new here, thank you for believing in me and my vision to help make dance more accessible and for everyone. If you want to join us, now is the time! I cannot wait to see what this new season of Rise brings us, and I hope you come along for the ride.
