Paige has been a member with us for just over a year. Her story of motherhood, and her fitness journey through it, is relatable and inspiring.
“Becoming a mother of two was the greatest blessing of my life, but it also changed my body in ways I wasn’t prepared for. Between pregnancies, sleepless nights, and putting everyone else first, I gained more weight than I ever imagined and at times barely recognized the woman in the mirror.
There were moments of frustration, insecurity, and exhaustion, but deep down I knew I wanted to feel strong, confident, and healthy again-not just for how I looked, but for myself and my family. My journey back wasn’t quick or easy. It took early mornings, late nights, discipline when I didn’t feel motivated, and choosing progress over excuses. Through hard work, consistency, and not giving up I was able to slowly get “me” back. I rebuilt not only my body, but my confidence.
Today, I’m proud to say l’ve come back stronger than ever, feeling healthy, and truly comfortable in my own skin. This journey has taught me that real transformation takes patience, sacrifice, and dedication. I continue to raise the bar for myself knowing I’m still capable of so much more. Finding a gym like Smitty Built I now have a place that feels like my second home. This gym offers security, community and a place to be proud to be a part of. It makes you feel like you’re not just another member, you’re greeted with familiar faces, and overall amazing humans. I will continue to lead by example and become the best version of myself and there’s no better place to do it!”
