One of the greatest gifts in teaching is supporting my students and watching them grow into the musicians and adults they become! This young woman is one I beam with pride and joy for. Allie came to me with an amazing ear and passion for music. I could see her talents and gifts immediately, and on top of that she is one of the most kind and gracious souls. Allie took on every challenge I threw at her and raised the bar. She regularly wanted to challenge herself to play the harder or advanced version of pieces I would give her. She played two of my all time favorite pieces in recitals and wowed the crowd! She studied with me for four years and is now a freshman performing in two advanced audition ensembles in high school. I love being able to support her in her journey and watch her skills continue to grow. Way to go Allie!
