Cat villagers we need your help. The very sad part of this story, there was another rescuer willing to go in and help a few weeks ago. Those efforts were not received, no fault of the rescuer and ultimately our number was given out.
We can’t help everybody, but strive to try by triaging missions and making do with the extremely limited resources and manpower we have. Our focus is assisting folks with prevention utilizing spay and neuter with a DIY Trap-Neuter-Return approach. We do occasionally get out in the field. This is one of those times.
We are once again racing against the clock with what appears to be several new litters ready to be born anytime now.
Please help us make a difference in the lives of these cats and kittens. Our plan is to remove the kittens and adoptable cats, bring them to health and partner up with a sister rescue to find them homes. The rest will be TNR’ed.
Please stay tuned for up to date information about Mission Oasis and share our post❤️

Milo recently attended one of many scheduled doctor appointments and we are pleased to report positive news. The tissue is granulating, indicating that amputation of his tail may not be necessary, and we are hopeful that this progress will continue. Having nearly completed his antibiotic course and with ongoing close monitoring, there is optimism regarding the potential for the femur fracture to heal properly. Although the recovery period will span several weeks we are currently encouraged by the developments, our veterinary expenses have exceeded $700. We are relieved that a major surgical procedure appears unlikely; however, managing our medical budget remains a challenge. Every contribution is valued and appreciated.

Introducing our newest foster kitten, rescued from the mower deck of a Husqvarna after a couple worked diligently to disassemble the machine and extract the kitten. Upon rescue, the kitten was found to be covered in fleas, malnourished, and exhausted. They quickly jumped into action, giving this little kitten much relief from the fleas and a good meal. Following a successful rescue, the couple then embarked on a search for a suitable environment where the kitten could receive the necessary care. That’s where we come in. This tiny, yet resilient boy is thriving, and we are delighted to report that he is doing exceptionally well. Would the name Husky be a fitting choice for this young survivor?
