Intention is powerful. I saw this beautiful Dieffenbachia go up as a raffle at one of the local plant stands I have been going to, and I’ve never wanted a plant more. I knew right where she’d go in my house. I cleared out the space and decided she would be mine. I put a lot of time an energy into getting some of my other plant babies ready for donations to be entered into the drawing as a potential recipient, and I kept dreaming of her being home with me, and of my name being drawn.

This morning, I woke up to my name being drawn as her winner. I had to watch the drawing video a few times to make my fuzzy eyes realize that was indeed my name I was seeing on the screen 😍

I had so desired a beautiful sign of positivity recently. Something beautiful. Something innocent and of nature with love. Pure. I am entirely grateful for this confirmation.

I excitedly brought her home this afternoon and placed her in the space that had been readied for her. I was so nervous transporting her. We drove 10 mph all the way home so as not to hurt her (my son was SUCH a trooper and I could not have moved her without him) 🥰. Thanks kiddo!!

Yes, she is being held up by a kitchen chair until I can secure her more permanently. She’s a big girl! 😆

I told my son earlier in the week that I would win this “goddess of a plant.” So, she will be named after a beautiful goddess.

What shall I name her?
