My Dearest Ido, it’s been a few days and I can hardly wrap my head around what it means for you to no longer be here.
The life, joy, care, tenacity, kindness, generosity, intentionality and zest for life that you infused into all of us was felt, consistent and beyond impactful. You carried a light in your eyes and a determination that would rival most and a commitment to your family, Papa, Keith and the Lord that was unwavering.
Thank you for your love! Your love for all of us.. somehow you had enough capacity to love us all with a deep love that broke any fear of lack or favoritism. You taught me to give grace to myself, to not fear failure and that performance has no bearing on my value.
I love you Ido, I will miss you dearly but I rejoice that you are your youthful and joyful self, celebrating a new body that will forever be rejoicing with our Lord.
“For when the One Great Scorer comes
To mark against your name,
He writes - not that you won or lost -
But how you played the Game.”

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of adoption by which we come to know God as our Father (Rom 8:15). The nature of the Father was demonstrated in the life of Jesus - “if you have seen me, you have seen the Father” (John 14:9). Many times in my life I have lensed the Father based on my experience with authority here on earth and it has affected how I approach God in times of need, pain, failure, and even success.
Jesus came to heal, redeem, seek and save the lost, to restore broken things. He demonstrated God’s heart towards us - and God never changes. Even in our wavering, His love is constant and His faithfulness is unwavering.
We explore this subject in my newly released Surrendered to the Holy Spirit e-course which can be found here: https://courses.hayleybraun.com/collections
