Gold medal weekend for Team Sun Oaks.
Three of our athletes — Katie Crum, Jimmy Pettyjohn, and Nick Stevenson — have been practicing weekly with Reagan at Sun Oaks and putting in the work both on and off the court. Katie also competes in our tennis league and attends weekly clinics, Jimmy participates in weekly clinics, and Nick continues to sharpen his game in our group tennis classes.
This past Saturday, they competed in the Special Olympics Northern California Regional Games in Folsom and all three brought home GOLD in their singles tennis events!
We could not be more proud of their dedication, growth, sportsmanship, and heart. Next stop: the Summer Games in San Jose this June. Congratulations Katie, Jimmy, and Nick!
