OKay! So I have decided not to let the "Northern California Wine Enthusiasts" Meetup group die and have stepped up as administrator. While I am going to be 500+ miles away from the 17th until the 7th, I really am going to combine this group with Columbia-Pacific Wine Guild; and offer some true educational Deductive Tasting courses in 2014, that I have developed from my previous experience whilst incepting the oenology program at Central Washington University, as well as from my own continuing education through the Court of Master Sommeliers. I expect these classes to begin February 15 (time and date are a bit flexible at this point, talk to me!), and I will look forward to hearing from any of you who are interested in attending. This will be a serious tasting course designed for those of you who wish to be able to taste a wine and learn how to deduce and then state with boldness "This is a California Syrah" or "an Italian Chianti" and why). I hope to meet you all for some fun more informal tastings all about the Northern Cali region as well!
