Good morning all! Two of our Board members were in Nicaragua this past week with a medical team. Tim sent me this photo and so sharing it with you (with his permission). Thought you would like to see how well Pastor is doing. Keep those prayers coming!

It has been almost a month since I have posted anything. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and the New Year is getting off to a great start. Pastor continues his physical therapy and is gaining upper body strength. He is able to be up in a chair for longer periods of time and doing some teaching from home. They have had some visitors from the states in December and this month. He is looking forward to be able to bring some pastors to Managua for some training.

The economy in Nicaragua is much like here but a bit worse. Many people are leaving Puerto Cabezas so we have had some changes in teachers at school and reductions in the numbers at church even. The ministry continues though and we are thankful for that. Please continue to pray with us for wisdom and direction as we go forward. God is presenting some interesting possibilities. Good morning and Merry Christmas to all of you. Pastor continues to strengthen and amaze me with his positive attitude and constant thinking of the well-being of others. He is so grateful for all your prayers and support! I just wanted to hop on and let you all know that if you have year-end donations that you want to make they have to be postmarked by 12/31 to count in this year's tax records. We so appreciate each and every one of you!!

Yesterday when I talked with pastor he told me he was able to go to church last Sunday. He was so blessed to be there. I don't know about you but that really excited me for him. He is in such good spirits. He is very much involved in decisions that are being made. So thankful. God is good!

Anyone up for ice cream? The new car has arrived and what did Pastor want to do? Go get ice cream please...
