Please join us for our next Virtual Town Hall – Thursday, July 23, 7:00 pm PT on Zoom
We’ll feature a round of mini talks from Regional Coordinators and knowledgeable atlasers each discussing a species that breeds late in the season. These talks will set us up well as we head deeper into the summer and the tail end of the breeding season for most species. There’s still plenty to look for, so come find out what!

The May Atlas Dispatch is up! And WOW we are off to a great start for this 5 year project.
"In May, 2,208 atlasers submitted 27,095 checklists to the project. Atlasers covered 4,402 blocks, logged 32,023 hours, and covered 21,788 miles (that’s like circling Lake Tahoe 303x). Checklists came in from all 58 counties and atlasers submitted nearly 168,988 breeding codes, exceeding last month’s all-time record by 25k!"
"Last month, we surpassed 500k total coded observations for 2026. If the historical trajectory holds, we may be on track to surpass 1 million breeding codes in the project’s first year!"
