Got a few extra hours on a Saturday morning? Want to use them to Make A Difference :) - MOVING DAY: Saturday September 7th
An elderly woman in Redford is being evicted from her home. We need at volunteers to help move her possessions to a storage unit today, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH beginning at 8:00 am. If you can help, please go right to the house. If we can get a lot of help, it should only take a few hours. Her address is 18215 Poinciana in Redford (7 Mile and Inkster, near Curtis). Update: We have been working this week to help a Redford Senior pack up her home and move. The packing is almost done but we could use a couple people to help her after 4pm today to finish up a bedroom. Tomorrow (Saturday, September 7th) volunteers are needed after 8am to load a moving truck and unload it at a storage facility.
