We spent the morning exploring Wiens Cellars with Joe Wiens. He showed us the views, the wine, the process and told us the story behind this incredible winery and their journey in Temecula.

We are looking forward to see you all at the Santa Barbara Lavender Festival this Saturday June 27 from 11am to 5pm.
We will have our award winning marmalades as well as other OCB favorites.
There will be food, music and tons of vendors and admission is free!

Western redbud deserves far more attention than it gets.
In spring, its bare branches burst into electric pink bloom before the leaves even arrive. It is beautiful in gardens, valuable to native bees, culturally significant in California basketry traditions, and simply one of our great underused native flowering trees.
If more streets and yards looked like this in spring, we would not complain.
