Fall looks different by the ocean. 🍂

Who says autumn has to mean heavy tones and plaid throws? In oceanfront homes, fall design is all about light layers, sandy neutrals, and texture that nods to the season without overpowering the view.

Pro tip: Layer linen, jute, and pampas grass for a warm, modern coastal vibe that still feels clean and calm.

Selling a beach home this season? Let’s style it to shine.

Fall scents that sell—no pumpkin required. 🕯️

Skip the overpowering candles. For showings, subtle is everything.

Try light, natural notes like cedar, sandalwood, fig, or clove.
📍 One diffuser near the entry.
📍 Another in the living space.

The goal? Let buyers walk in and instantly think, “It smells like home.”

🍂 Still stuck in summer mode? Let’s shift the mood.

October is the perfect time to cozy things up—without losing that SoCal light and airiness.

Try this seasonal refresh:
• Add olive green in the kitchen or living area.
• Swap in muted ochre or rust pillows on your neutral sofa.
• Style surfaces with earthy ceramics or wood bowls.

Fall design is all about balance: bright, livable spaces with a grounded, welcoming feel.

Want help staging for the season? Let’s make your home fall-ready.

Our Story

Being a Realtor gives me the opportunity to help people fulfill their lifestyle. My roots are in Southern California so I understand my clients, and what they are looking for in a home. Born in Santa Monica and raised in Malibu, surfing and ocean kayaking were a regular part of life.

My knowledge of Los Angeles and Ventura County beach and harbor cities is extensive. Our family moved from Brentwood to Malibu in 1989 where I would reside for more than 20 years. In addition I lived in Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, and Brentwood for another 20 years. In 2006, the beach and harbor areas of Oxnard became my second home, when my mother bought a house at Silverstrand Beach.

As a member of the Ventura, Oxnard and Santa Barbara yachting communities, my sport and leisure activities revolve around sailing. And just as in sailing, real estate transactions involve multiple moving parts. Even with rough conditions, the right balance and trim is all you need to get you home.

I also value giving back to the community and those less fortunate. I am a volunteer with the Caregivers Foundation of Ventura their annual Sailathon which raises money for seniors in need.
