Silk painting is an art form that dates back thousands of years. In ancient Egypt, India, and China, fabrics were painted with natural pigments and plant-based dyes. Every line carried a meaning, and every shade told a story. Through the centuries, this technique preserved the connection between art, craftsmanship, and ritual.

Today, hand-painted silk is a rare commodity. It is a luxury with purpose, as every brushstroke holds the unique energy of creation.

The technique gives me a rare privilege — the ability to create my own fabric, pattern, or motif, shaped exactly for my designs. It’s a perfect blend of art and craft. I chose to paint the materials for my pieces — as Armani often did, uniting artistry with timeless craftsmanship.

Even after the last brushstroke, as the fabric dries, the silk reveals its natural glow. For me, that’s a special moment — when colors begin to flow, and the fabric comes to life. 🤍
