Did you know how dangerous fireworks can be if not handled correctly? Fireworks Safety Month, celebrated each June, is dedicated to raising awareness about the risks of improper usage.

As we head into the summer months and the July 4th holiday draws near families will gather to watch colorful displays of fireworks, but it’s also a reminder that fireworks require careful handling.

By emphasizing safety, this month encourages everyone to enjoy the fun while staying out of harm’s way.

Many accidents happen each year due to the misuse of fireworks. That’s why it’s essential to follow strict guidelines, like maintaining a safe distance, avoiding illegal fireworks, and never letting children handle fireworks unsupervised.

The goal is to prevent injuries and property damage, ensuring the festivities are enjoyable for everyone. Using fireworks responsibly is about avoiding personal injuries and preventing fires that can devastate homes and cause wildfires.
