Bluetooth and modern audio quality is awesome, but can we bringe this feature back? 
 Actually if you ever wondered why computer speakers in the 90s and early 2000s seemed to predict incoming phone calls? It wasn’t magic it was radio interference. Both early cell phones and cordless landline phones leaked small bursts of radio energy before they rang. GSM cell phones sent out rapid “handshake” pulses to the tower, while cordless phones transmitted a quick signal between the handset and the base station when a call was coming in. Older unshielded computer speakers basically acted like accidental antennas. Their wiring picked up those radio bursts and turned them into that iconic buzzing or crackling sound a split second before the actual ringtone. Today, this almost never happens thanks to better shielding in speakers, tighter wireless standards, and modern 4G/5G signals that don’t create those loud interference bursts.
