From the polo fields of Wyoming to life at Raven Rock Ranch 🐴🤎

Rooney came to us after quite the journey. He was once a professional polo horse on a large ranch in Wyoming before an injury led him into retirement and ranch work. When his body could no longer keep up, he found his way to Raven Rock Ranch for a well-deserved second retirement.

After lots of care and rehabilitation, Rooney has become one of the most dependable horses in our herd. He’s proof that a new chapter can be just as meaningful as the last. ✨

We’re so grateful this sweet guy found his home here.

✨ Meet the Herd: Rainier ✨

Blue eyes? Check. Beautiful coat? Check. Personality for days? Definitely.

Rainier is our Cremello Quarter Horse with those unforgettable blue eyes. Before coming to Raven Rock Ranch, he was a Hunter Jumper who gave his all in the ring. After an injury and a successful rehab, he found his way here for an early retirement.

He’s got a ton of professional training and just as much energy to keep us on our toes! These days, Rainier he’s living his best life at Raven Rock Ranch! 🐴
