🌱Veggie stir fry with Morningstar patty
🧅1/2 onion chopped
🧄1 clove fresh garlic chopped
🥒1/2 medium zucchini sliced
🤍3-4 Mushrooms
🍅1 small tomato chopped
✨1 patty
Heat large pan w 2 TBSP of olive oil on medium high while you chop your veggies. Once pan is hot, sauté onion for 4 minutes sprinkle season salt, keep onion on separate side of pan and add garlic, mushroom and zucchini season & sauté 3 minutes. (the reason you keep separate is so onion continues to caramelize on it’s own and doesn’t absorb moisture from other veggies)☺️. Now add tomato and patty also trying to keep separate from the other veggies) sauté those two together so patty absorbs tomato juices * you can also add more fresh garlic to sauté w party and tomato* and sprinkle season salt cook for another 5 minutes flipping patty in between. For the last 2 -3 minutes you can mix all the ingredients so patty picks up all the flavors.
Serve as is or with rice! I had spanish rice already made but honestly the veggies and patty on their own are very filling! I’ll be posting my easy super YUM family rice recipe on my blog soon! Enjoy! ❤️
