Good weekend at the 2025 Spring Classic Cattle Dog Trial. Thanks to Mike Collins and crew for a nice trial. We were really happy with our dogs and Randy came away with first place in the on foot intermediate division and was the regional NCA intermediate champion buckle winner with GS Frosty. GS Hope also did well and they placed 5th in the on foot trial. In Saturday’s horseback field trial Randy and GS Hope placed 2nd in intermediate and he and GS Hope were 3rd for the weekend average. Payouts were great and it was a fun weekend. Thanks to Brian Jacobs for trusting us with these two dogs from his program, we sure love them both. Worth every penny and more, especially because they can work all week on the ranch earning their keep and then go to town and be competitive on the weekends!
Help wanted, Squaw Valley area. Full time, long term ranch work. Must be reliable, trustworthy and show up on time ready to work. Lazy attitude need not apply. Ranch experience helpful, welding and mechanical skills a plus. If you are willing to work it is a very steady job. If you like doing something different every day, working in the country and working independently or only with one or two coworkers and have reliable transportation please message us.
