Lace up, air up, and leash up for this tail-wagging start to SUMMER IN THE CITY: A Cheney Block Party!

Join our 5k Fun Run, Dog Jog, and Pup n Pedal for this laid back experience that takes you and your pup (or brave back pack kitty) on a scenic route through Midtown and the surrounding neighborhoods.

The Dog Jog is led by our marvelous friends at The Mikkeller Run Club and the Pup n Pedal is led by Reno Bike Night! Pet companions are encouraged but not required to enjoy these leisure adventures through our beautiful Midtown neighborhoods.

Nevada Humane Society will be on-site with their adoption van for a pup/kitty meet & greet. You can learn everything about these adorable adoptables and can make arrangements to pick your pet up from their home facility.

The festival is Saturday, June 13, starts at 3 PM. Meet at the Cheney block party and be ready to jog or bike at 4 PM.

When you get back, there will be plenty of fun with: Live Music, Bounce House, Face Painting, Temporary Tattoos, Real Tattoos, Balloon Twisting, Live Art, Carnival Games, Pet Adoption, Farmers Market, Vintage Market, Ice Cream, Pizza, Beers & More.

Plus, a 5,000 water balloon fight…. ❤️❤️❤️

We have curated this event to be your annual, officially unofficial ‘welcome to Summer’ kickoff party 🙂

Dance music from the area’s finest DJs. Farmer’s Market, Vintage Market, Face Paining, Balloon Animals, Temporary Tattoos, Discounted Flash/Ink, Carnival Games, Gelato, Pizza, Wings, Beer, Cocktails, and more!

Wait, did someone say water balloons? That’s right! Nevada’s largest water balloon fight is back and bigger with over 5,000 water balloons!!!

We will have pups and kittens for a meet & greet with Northern Nevada Humane Society where you can learn more about how to adopt your next furry friend!

Additionally, we will have a Dog Jog and Pup n Pedal through the Midtown neighborhood at 4p. Options include a 1.5m or 3.1m route.

So, let’s throw ‘em back. Rock out. And boogie with reckless abandon!
