Join us on Sunday, July 26 at 1 PM for a special Painting at the Ark class with -with-April! This limited-seating experience will have you creating your own animal-inspired artwork on wood rounds while enjoying a fun, guided painting session surrounded by the Ark.

No painting experience? No problem! April will walk you through each step, making this a fun activity for beginners and experienced artists alike.

We'll be welcoming the Feline Conservation Foundation for a day of conservation presentations, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and opportunities to learn about the challenges facing wild tigers and the work being done to protect them.

Lily the tiger was originally born in captivity under private ownership. When the person who owned her could no longer care for her, she was surrendered to another wildlife facility for temporary care. The owner of that facility had previously visited Animal Ark and decided to reach out to ask about permanently placing her with us. Lily arrived between winter storms on January 24, 2017. Learn more about Lily and tigers like her at our Tiger Talk conservation event on July 11th from 10am to 4:30pm. A portion of every ticket sold will go towards supporting the amazing work of the Feline Conservation Foundation, who will be partnering with us for this event!
