Google Expands Demand Gen with Auto-Generated Video Assets

Google Ads is introducing a new feature that automatically turns your existing Demand Gen image and text assets into short, branded videos — available across all aspect ratios and placements.

Rollout applies to image-only ads created before August 27, 2025. Videos will begin serving after October 31, 2025 (opt-out available). This move extends reach and visibility for advertisers, helping bridge static and motion creative without extra production time.
