This year’s Illuminating Hope event will be bigger than ever as our community celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States, and we need volunteers to help make it a success!

Whether you'd like to march in the morning parade, help families enjoy the evening festivities, or support childhood food security in our community, we have a role for you. Many opportunities are family-friendly, and most spots offer the chance to enjoy the fireworks while volunteering.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Walking in the Front Street 4th of July Parade with our decorated wagon - registered participants will receive a t-shirt!
Event Greeter at Vasa Park
Face Painting
Shuttle Hosts - priority role
Beach Safety Patrol
