Rescue Reston
We strongly oppose this action based on Reston's history of communal open spaces and long standing zoning ordinances.

Update: Our Strategy to Defend Reston National Golf Course Against the Latest Development Threat
Patience folks. We are getting some information together and will communicate soon about Reston National Golf Course. Please take caution on who you share your email and other information with. We will be providing a way to communicate with Supervisor Walter Alcorn soon - there is no great urgency to use other unknown sources to do so.

Worth repeating.
"On a broader scale it is vitally important that these golf courses remain as part of Reston, as they currently exist - meaning: no development incursions into golf course property nor modification from, for example, 18 to nine holes. The green space provided by the golf courses is beneficial to the entire Reston community, even for non-golfers. It is aesthetically pleasing and provides home to a wide range of wildlife." - D. W. Donnell,
North Reston resident
