Hello hello! Checking in, yes I’m still alive ☺️
I’ve been MIA - but I promise you it’s for a good cause. I’ve been working on a lot of different things to continue bringing you guys the best and most up to date education, products and experience. “Too busy to post” yes it’s real! And it’s okay to not be on social media all the time. It’s a good detox….
Here’s a little sneak peak of this busy bee month: the most recent conference I had the pleasure of speaking at recently in Colombia -
I truly have to say these are not your average conferences, you’re literally taking an intense Master Class from all the educators that get up on that stage.
If you’re a lash artist and still have not had the opportunity to attend a lash conference, I highly recommend you do. It’s life changing!

👩🏼🔬 As an educator it’s my responsibility to always be better. To continue educating myself to bring YOU the most up to date industry education and products.
👩🏼🎓 I have to be an example and be the best for my clients and students. Additionally, I have the moral responsibility (to myself so I can sleep better at night) of ONLY launching products that have quality + safe ingredients and the only way to do this is by educating myself in all aspects this business.
🥺 It is INSANE how many BIG brands out there in our industry just slap a label on their products without truly understanding the formulations and if they are actually safe for the consumer.
🧠 HOWEVER, it’s is our individual responsibility as hands on artists and educators to school ourselves and be able to read those labels and understand the quality vs the “run for it” To perform safe services for our clients, to teach accurate up to date information. Etc
📈We need to RAISE THE BAR and step up our game -

🧸 sometimes your client just wants full fluffy coverage without the bold black lashes. ⬇️
Aside from choosing a lighter colored lash, (in this case brown) there are other steps taken to create the perfect set ⬇️
🤍One is keeping in mind that you are not lashing your client the same way you would lash a model for a portfolio set. As. A matter of fact, each lash is also getting custom lashed!
🤍Lashing each layer intentionally will make or break your set. It can close the each or open it, it can droop it or lift it….
🤍Controlling your volume bases to create direction and smooth grow out is a must for comfort and ideal mapping
🤍Consistency in fan aperture and base length can create either a neat uniform top line or a fluffy soft blended and textured set - but there is way more to this
