We are still seeking volunteers, in-kind donations, and event sponsors. Every sponsorship, donated service, and volunteer hour helps us keep costs down and maximize the impact we can make for Northwoods adults facing cancer and terminal illness.

Please be patient with the plows if you are braving this weather for travel or if you have to travel for work. They are doing all they can to clean up. This includes our parking lot. It can be rough with being a 24 hour business, and with this much snow coming..... it will be rough.

This is something we don't do very often. A very significant winter storm is on the way and it will begin Saturday evening. It will continue all day Sunday and last through Monday afternoon. The wind will also blow the snow around and lower visibility. Expect travel to be very difficult, if not, impossible. If you need to travel, do it Saturday. Once the snow begins, conditions will deteriorate fast. Between the wind and the snow, power outages may also occur. Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

I cannot believe next week is Thanksgiving. I have to say, I am beyond thankful for my staff and all the hard work they do to make this hotel wonderful and to help keep me sane 🤣.
