🐱 **Can Cats Eat That?** 🍗🥕🐟

We know those big kitty eyes make it hard to say no! 😻 here’s a list of what’s Ok and NOT Ok!

✅ **OK to Give (in small bite-sized pieces):**
• Plain cooked chicken or turkey (no seasoning)
• Plain cooked fish
• Plain cooked eggs
• Steamed carrots
• Green beans
• Pumpkin (plain, not pie filling)

⚠️ **Only in Moderation:**
• Cheese and other dairy products (many cats are lactose intolerant)
• Bananas
• Blueberries
• Watermelon (seedless)
• Plain rice
• Oatmeal

🚫 **Never Give:**
• Onions, garlic, chives, or leeks
• Chocolate
• Grapes and raisins
• Alcohol
• Caffeine
• Xylitol (found in many sugar-free products)
• Raw bread dough
• Cooked bones
• Fat trimmings or heavily seasoned foods

While fireworks are fun for people, they can be frightening and overwhelming for our furry family members. The loud noises and bright flashes can cause even the calmest pets to panic, run away, or hide.

Help keep your pet safe this holiday by following these tips:

🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks and celebrations.
🐾 Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date.
🐾 Verify that your pet's microchip information is current.
🐾 Create a quiet, comfortable space inside your home where your pet can feel secure.
🐾 Close windows, doors, and gates to prevent accidental escapes.
🐾 Consider playing calming music or white noise to help mask outdoor sounds.
🐾 Never bring pets to fireworks displays.
