I hate making posts like this, but I’m at the point where staying quiet means turning babies away.

I’m still trying to survive the heartbreak of losing someone so close, and the truth is this is the hardest thing we’ve ever went through. I’m grieving, exhausted, overwhelmed, and trying to keep putting one foot in front of the other to stay strong for my human babies and my wildlife babies. I just want to lay in bed.

But the babies still need to eat.
They still need bottles.
They still need medication, warmth, clean kennels, and someone to fight for them.

So I’m pushing through and getting Wild Heart Wildlife Rescue reopened on Monday… but I need help to do it.

Tomorrow we are driving to Detroit for 3 pallets of dog food, and I urgently need to raise the money for that. I also need to restock critical supplies so I can safely reopen and continue taking in babies who have nowhere else to go.

Most-needed supplies right now:

* Rescue Cleaner
* Zoologic 42/25 formula- can be bought from Chewy or Walmart and shipped here to the rescue.
* Eggs
(farm fresh/raw eggs are amazing -unwashed store the best 🥚🥚scrambled or hard boiled eggs help so much)
* Baby blankets
* Baby toys (especially hanging toys)
* Soft stuffed animals
* Puppy pads

What I’m going through every single day right now:

* 120 eggs
* 3 gallons of formula
* 27 puppy pads
*** And a ton of laundryyyyy

This is not a small need. This is survival-level need.

This has been the worst wildlife season I have ever seen. The babies just keep coming — orphaned, starving, weak, dehydrated, covered in fleas, ticks and fly eggs, crying for mothers they will never get back because people trap, relocate, or kill nursing moms and leave the babies behind to suffer.

And then those babies end up here.

In my hands.
In my kennels.
In my home.
In my heart.

I’m the one bottle feeding them through the night.
Working hard to stabilize them.
Trying to keep them warm.
Trying to keep them alive.
Trying to find the money to do all of it while my own heart is shattered.

I hate asking for help. I really do. I wish I could just post the cute baby pictures and quietly do the work behind the scenes without ever having to ask for supplies or donations. But the reality is, rescue is expensive, and love alone does not buy formula, food, vaccines, cleaner, or puppy pads.

And right now, I cannot do this alone.

I am so deeply grateful for the people who have already stepped up for us. In the last 2 weeks alone, I was gifted 900+ eggs and 20 lbs of chicken for the foxes and coyotes. One beautiful person made dinner for me and my kids, and 2 beautiful people brought coffee/ redbull. That kindness has carried this rescue through one of the darkest times of my life, and I will never forget it.

If you can help, here are the best ways:

❤️ Donate $5 if you can — truly, if everyone who sees this gives just a few dollars, it adds up fast and makes a huge difference.
❤️ Purchase 1 item from my wishlist — even one bottle of cleaner, one pack of puppy pads, one blanket, or one bag of formula helps.
❤️ Share this post — shares matter so much and help us reach the people who can help.

Donation links / wishlist will be in the comments ⬇️
Wild Heart Wildlife Rescue is a 501(c)(3), so all donations are tax deductible.

I would not be asking if it wasn’t absolutely necessary.

I’m trying so hard to reopen Monday.
I’m trying so hard to keep saying yes.
I’m trying so hard to keep showing up for these babies while carrying grief that has completely knocked the wind out of me.

If you can help me keep these doors open and help me keep fighting for the babies who have nowhere else to go, please donate, shop the wishlist, or share.

I need you. These babies need you. And I would be so incredibly grateful for any help at all. ❤️
