The Infrared Detector May Be Permanently Damaged By High-Radiation Targets. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 (𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧) 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐧, 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Upon receipt of the device, initial inspection and functional testing shall be performed:
--Indoors in a controlled environment, or
--During night-time conditions

Is not covered under the standard limited warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
