𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬. Due to their sensitivity, these detectors may be affected by exposure to high-intensity thermal radiation.

The Infrared Detector May Be Permanently Damaged By High-Radiation Targets. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 (𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧) 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐧, 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Avoid direct or transient exposure to high-intensity thermal sources at all times.

𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐩 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬. Removal of the lens cap indicates that the user acknowledges this risk and agrees to operate the device in accordance with the provided safety guidelines.

𝑰𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔:
Upon receipt of the device, initial inspection and functional testing shall be performed:
--Indoors in a controlled environment, or
--During night-time conditions
𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

--𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Is not covered under the standard limited warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The user is responsible for operating the device in accordance with all applicable instructions and safety guidelines. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in immediate and irreversible damage to the sensor.
