Firstborne’s debut Lucky is picking up steam after Girish crushed it on AGT. Pretty amazing - check him out if you haven’t. Hard to believe our random meet him years ago in India and now I get to make music with him. Truly “Lucky.”
What have you guys been listening to lately? I still absolutely love most anything heavy, but I’m starting to have a real issue with cookie cutter production with kick drums so blown out they eat the whole mix - where the hell are all the guitars? Of course there are bands with killer riffs and shredders - but seems less and less common. Just me?
I’m excited about the new Coroner and Leprous releases coming soon - what’s on your radar?

Around 2004 I started to occasionally practice in the dark. I did it to build muscle memory, and it worked. Never imagined I’d actually be asked to do it - but I was prepared and had a great time putting this project together.
