June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month.
More than 459,300 Texans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and more than 1.2 million family members and friends are serving as caregivers.
The Alzheimer’s Association Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter is proud to support Fort Bend County through free caregiver support groups, educational programs, and a 24/7 Helpline at 1-800-272-3900.

🤠🔥 Next Saturday, treat Dad to a Father’s Day experience he won’t forget at The George Ranch.
Celebrate Ranch-style with the cowboys on Saturday, June 20 and spend the morning learning old-fashioned skills around the open hearth. Dads will pick up cast iron cookin’ tips, learn how to start a fire with flint and steel, and enjoy tastings straight from the fire when the cookin’ is done. Coffee in a tin mug included. ☕🔥

Please join us in congratulating Trebor Poncik on his new role as Operations Manager for The George Foundation.
Trebor leads the Operations Team responsible for the stewardship of The George Ranch landholdings, as well as the preservation and maintenance of its historic homes and public buildings.
A Rosenberg native, Trebor’s journey with The George Foundation began as a high school co-op student. Over the past 24 years, he has made significant contributions to The George Ranch and the Foundation, and we are excited to see him step into this leadership role.
Today, Trebor lives on the ranch with his wife and young daughter. When he is not caring for the ranch, he enjoys saltwater fishing and supporting his daughter’s agricultural projects and livestock activities.

Through the Clubhouse Model, members and staff work side by side in meaningful daily roles that strengthen life skills and uncover individual talents. The program also supports pathways to employment, education, housing stability, and deeper community connection so members can truly thrive.

newest Trustee of The George Foundation.
Joe brings decades of leadership experience across land development, engineering, and municipal utility operations, and currently serves as a Senior Consultant with Turner & Townsend Heery. His career also includes international project leadership, reflecting a broad and diverse professional background.
Closer to home, Joe is widely recognized for his commitment to the Fort Bend County community. He served as Mayor of Sugar Land from 2016 to 2025, after previously serving on City Council. Throughout his time in public office, he guided the city through periods of growth and significant challenges with steady, thoughtful leadership.
