A year ago, almost to the day, Brooklynn and Ryan put their house on the market. Then life happened, plans changed, and the sign came down. Fast forward to this year, I had buyers looking for a horse property on the southeast side of town, and their home popped into my head. So I took a chance and sent Ryan a Facebook message asking if they’d ever considered selling again. After some thought, he said yes.

The plan was to sell, rent for a while, and figure out what came next. But after looking into rentals, they quickly realized renting is somehow more difficult than buying. So instead, we went house shopping. Their wish list was simple: a pool or a backyard their kids would never want to leave.

Nothing felt quite right, until another off market opportunity landed in our lap. Suddenly they had the pool, the backyard (with potential for green grass), a detached workshop, and a quiet cul de sac.

I’d be lying if I said Ryan wasn’t one of the most sarcastic people I’ve ever met. We spent most of this process laughing, and there was one point where I actually had to ask Brooklynn if he was serious because I genuinely couldn’t tell. But underneath all the sarcasm is a guy who absolutely adores his family. The same goes for Brooklynn. Watching the two of them together, it’s obvious they’re building something they’re incredibly proud of. They love their kids fiercely, they make a great team, and they’re creating a life that’s worth rooting for.

All of this started with a random Facebook message. One little chance turned into two off market opportunities, two successful closings, and one really incredible family ending up exactly where they were meant to be.
