Kiwanis Club of Ridgecrest

Kiwanis Child Spree will be happening this year on August 1st. At this event, Kiwanis/Oasis Family Resource Center/Kern Family Health Center/the Salvation Army, Walmart and other organizations supporting Child Spree plan to provide $110 of new school clothing for 60 or more deserving children in our community. The event will be held at our local Wal-Mart and involve many volunteers, who will help the children shop for clothes. Please donate and/or help the children of the community.

We had a great meeting last Thursday and gave the certificates to our Key Club Scholarship recipients. Congratulations to Lucas, Nathalia, and Layla for winning the scholarship. Our own Key Club member, Division Lt. Governor, Annie Ngo, displayed the Youth Award from the Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce 80 years celebration.
