Throwback Student Story: Shahin

In 2022, Shahin shared her experience as a ReadWest student after moving to the United States from Iran. Through dedication, hard work, and support from ReadWest tutors, she improved her English skills and successfully prepared for the U.S. citizenship test alongside her husband.

"I started a new life in United States. Thank you ReadWest for all of these."

We're grateful that Shahin shared her story and honored to have been part of her literacy journey.

Thank you to Amazing Grace Personal Care Services and Garza McDonald's for helping support ReadWest's mission and the students we serve.
