Caiques are such fun little poofy, full of energy parrots! Most can be a little reserved with new people but on the inside, they are full of shenanigans. I took it slowly interacting with this gal when she first started boarding a few years ago in order to really gain her trust over time. Now we can play and be silly and she doesn’t want to go back in her cage. I am so blessed to be able to watch this gal when her parronts go away!

Kiwi is one of my many grand-birdies. Sometimes I quietly refer to my boarding birds as “grand-birdies” because I get to love on them and then send them home with mom and dad. 🥰
