THE FORMAT (CHIP / LIVES)
• FargoRate-based chip system.
• Lose a game = lose 1 chip.
• Winner stays on the table; next opponent comes from the on-deck list.
• Loser goes to the bottom of the on-deck list.
• Lose all chips = eliminated.
• On-deck list shuffles at 15 players.
• Unknown FargoRate will be assigned by the TD.

Format: Double Elimination
Match Scoring (Ball Count)
Each legally pocketed ball = 1 point.
The 10-ball ends the rack only when made legally as the called ball. If made early as a called shot it counts as a point.
Lowest ball must be contacted first on all non–push-out shots.

FargoRate → Handicap (APA SL / Ball Count to Win)
< 174 / SL 1 — 9 balls
175–224 / SL 2 — 12 balls
225–299 / SL 3 — 15 balls
300–349 / SL 4 — 19 balls
350–399 / SL 5 — 23 balls
400–449 / SL 6 — 28 balls
450–499 / SL 7 — 33 balls
500–549 / SL 8 — 39 balls
550+ / SL 9 — 45 balls

10-Ball Basic Rules
Called shot (call ball + pocket).
Push-out OK (only on the first shot after a legal break; must be announced).
Jump shots OK.
Winner breaks.
Rack your own (must be tight; TD may require re-rack).

Tournament Director’s call is final on rules disputes, spotting, and hit calls.
