The namāz‑e‑janāzah for our beloved sister Mrs. Talat Attar (wife of Dr. Naseem Attar) will be held tomorrow, Monday, June 15th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Islamic Society of Corono-Norco.

Please also note — as announced earlier — the janāzah prayer for Sister Buthaina Ali, wife of Dr. Mustafa Kuku, will take place at the same time and location.

May Allah grant both of our departed sisters His mercy, forgiveness, and the highest ranks of Jannah, and grant patience and strength to their families.

Janāzah Announcement for Sister Buthaina Ali

Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn — To Allah we belong and to Him we return.

The janāzah prayer for Sister Buthaina Ali is scheduled for Monday, immediately after Ẓuhr ṣalāh, at the Islamic Center of ‑Norco.

May Allah forgive her, envelop her in His mercy, widen her grave with light, and grant her the highest ranks of Jannah. May He grant patience, strength, and tranquility to her family and loved ones.

With the heaviest of hearts, we share the sorrowful news of the passing of Sister Buthaina Ali, the beloved wife of Dr. Mustafa Kuko and the loving mother of Dalia, Deena, Mohammed, and Deede Kuko.

We ask our community to keep her in your prayers and to remember her with mercy.
May Allah ﷻ envelop her with forgiveness and grant her the highest ranks of Al‑Jannah.

Sister Buthaina was a long‑time Arabic and Islamic Studies teacher at the Islamic Academy of Riverside, where she touched the lives of countless students and families through her dedication, kindness, and service.

Information regarding the Janazah, burial, and where to offer condolences will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

May Allah grant patience and comfort to her family and loved ones, and may her legacy continue through every life she impacted.

Short Reminder (End of Hijri Year)

As we near the end of another Hijri year, remember Allah’s command:

Let every soul look to what it has sent forward for tomorrow. (Qur’an 59:18)

The Prophet ﷺ taught that Allah accepts repentance until the soul reaches the throat.

So these final days are a time to:

- Make sincere taw bah
- Renew intentions for the coming year
- Increase dhikr and du‘a
- Fix relationships and clear the heart
- Prepare for the blessed days of Dhul‑Hijjah

May Allah accept what has passed and bless what is to come.
