We are thrilled to celebrate the unveiling of Iowaโs first Mobile Memory Clinic! Massive congratulations to Matt McCoy, Polk County Iowa, and Broadlawns Medical Center on this incredible milestone launched at the Polk County Westside Community Center.
As Polk County Supervisors' Chairperson Matt McCoy perfectly put it: โThe clinic will help reach underserved residents who can be difficult to identify or serve through traditional care settings.โ
This is exactly why mobile medical outreach matters. Delivering complex clinical layouts on a mobile platform ensures that vital resources can safely reach the heart of the community. Fantastic work by everyone involved, including Senior Services of Polk County, in breaking down barriers to care! ๐๐

Navigating tight city streets in a massive mobile medical unit is no easy feat for our clinical drivers.
One major design flaw in converted vehicles is the "Tail-Swing Trap." Forcing a clinic layout onto a stock vehicle wheelbase often creates an excessive rear overhang. The result? Dangerous tail-swing into adjacent lanes during tight turns and severe highway sway.
Proper mathematical wheelbase-to-length ratios keep our drivers safe, reduce fatigue, and get our clinical teams exactly where they need to be.

In healthcare operations, unexpected downtime is the ultimate roadblock to patient care.
Did you know that retrofitted transit buses or RVs used as mobile clinics face severe framework fatigue under continuous road stress? Heavy medical payloads can cause interior wall warping and cabinet separation over time.
To keep our communities healthy without interruption, we prioritize purpose-built mobile clinics engineered from raw steel and heavy-duty aluminum. Built to last, built to serve!

Delivering high-quality healthcare on wheels requires more than just moving medical equipment from point A to point B - it takes deliberate engineering.
When choosing a mobile clinic, operations teams must look beyond the floor plans. Standard RV conversions often suffer from poor weight distribution, leading to uneven suspension and a bumpy, uncomfortable ride for patients. Investing in a purpose-built clinic ensures a smooth, stable environment that protects both our sensitive medical calibration and patient comfort.
Delivering care seamlessly starts with a solid foundation.
