UCR Alumni Association

June was a busy month for Highlander alumni!

In Long Beach, we hosted a luncheon at The Aquarium of the Pacific. San Diego Highlanders enjoyed exploring downtown on the Seven Bridges Walk, and in NYC, alumni enjoyed a walking tour of LGBTQ+ historical sites in Greenwich Village.

Alumni network boards are made up of active, engaged volunteers who play an important role in advancing the mission of both the UCR Alumni Association and UCR.

With 17 chapters and networks based on geographic regions and shared interests, we are always seeking alumni who are interested in serving on a board and helping lead events, programs, and community engagement opportunities.

Join UCR alum Tuong-Phu Ngo ‘02 and Team Dragon Eyes for our 3rd annual day on the lake! Dragon boat racing originated in ancient China and has evolved into a global phenomenon.

UC Riverside even has its own team, the Riverside Surging Dragons!

No prior experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow alumni in the L.A. area in a casual, fun environment.
