EVERYONE MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ENTER THE 8TH GRADE PROMOTION/AWARDS CEREMONY.

This includes:
✅ Parents
✅ Family Members

✅ Small Children
✅ Halifax County Schools Employees

🚫 NO TICKET = NO ENTRY

Parents, please continue encouraging students to attend school daily, remain focused, and give their absolute best through the final days of the school year. Students eligible for retesting are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate their growth and achievement.

Each 8th grade student will receive six (6) tickets.
Every attendee, including small children, must have a ticket to enter.

Viking City, we are entering the final seven days of the 2025–2026 school year, and every day counts!

This week, our focus is on EOG test make-ups and retesting opportunities. We are not finished—we are focused! Every effort, every question, and every opportunity matters as we continue working toward growth, achievement, and success.

Our students have worked hard all year, and tomorrow they will have the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and growth they have achieved in mathematics. We are confident in our students and proud of the effort they have shown throughout the testing process.

As we prepare for the final E.O.G. assessment, please help your student be successful by ensuring they:
✅ Get a good night’s sleep
✅ Eat a healthy breakfast
✅ Arrive at school on time and ready to focus
✅ Follow the school dress code

Reminder:
❌ No electronics or cell phones
❌ No hoodies
❌ No blankets
❌ No water bottles

✅ Crocs are permitted; however, all students must follow the school dress code.
