Join us for worship at 11AM CSBC Roanoke this Sunday as we enjoy giving glory and thanks to God for his many blessings upon us these 250 years.

The history of this great land is worth celebrating. God has truly shown His grace on us, undeserving sinners. He has allowed this vast land to flourish despite our flaws and disobedience. Our history is the documentation of His blessings. For generations—the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been able to be preached publicly without impediments by our government. Our rights to assemble together as believers have been protected.

In the providence of God, we find ourselves in a particular time of blessing. Many of us may have great concerns currently for our future as the United States of America. But as the people of God—we can rest in Christ's sovereign reign over us. Christ, indeed, reigns over all nations. But every nation makes choices to acknowledge God and the light He has given through His word. May we as believers shine Christ's light in an unbelieving world.

We are sojourners in this nation, but we are also citizens.

The message for this Sunday is from the Lord's Prayer, which we've been focused on from Matthew 6:9-13, in a message "Thy Kingdom Come."

There will be no Wednesday Night Gathering or Children’s Catechism at CSBC this evening. We hope you enjoy these days leading up to the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation this weekend. We have much to be grateful for in God's providence and mercy upon our country.
