This month, we’re celebrating another outstanding group of students who successfully completed the CORE Fundamentals of Construction program! Through hands-on training and teamwork these future craft professionals built a strong foundation for successful careers in the construction industry.

The graduates earned industry-recognized credentials that will open doors and set them apart:

✅ Home Builders Institute - HBI PACT Credential

🚧🔨 The Franklin County Future Builders Academy - Concrete Week and Carpentry Week are almost here! 🔨🚧

In a little more than TWO WEEKS, students from across Franklin County will come together for hands-on learning, career exploration, and fun as they discover the world of skilled trades and construction careers.

This year's academy is made possible through the generous support of Virginia Housing, Ferrum College, and Procon Inc., in partnership with Franklin County Office of Economic Development, and Build Smart Institute.

Participants will experience interactive activities, hands-on projects, industry demonstrations, and direct engagement with professionals who are helping build the future of our communities.
