Kwanzaa celebrated in downtown Roanoke with fire, water, entertainment In a small theater Sunday, far from the madness of holiday gift returns and the refreshment-buying binges that precede New Year’s Eve, a small group of Roanokers celebrated homespun values such as respect for elders, self-confidence and community service.
The Melrose Rugby Neighborhood Forum meets the 4th Tuesday of each month from September through June at our community center, 1730 Orange Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia 24017.
