The NWEA MAP growth assessment is a Virginia measure of student academic growth.

Celebration # 7 Fit Lite Reading - Missed learning opportunities due to medical instability. Could we help him? The answer was a resounding, “Yes!” It only took 30 hours of instruction, 25 minutes a day, for this learner to experience transformational learning growth in reading across 3 grade levels - 35 wpm increase at the 1st grade level, 40 words per minute at the 2nd grade level, and in the last 20 hours of instruction, he increased by 48 words per minute at the 3rd-grade level. Another reason to celebrate 9 years of excellence in academic intervention!!

Celebration #5 Lil Fit - The question asked: Could Fit Learning help to break the learning cycle of failure that the parents had experienced in their own early school years? Yes, we can, and we did. Check out the growth this learner experienced during his kindergarten and first-grade school years. We can proudly say we helped this learner develop the skills necessary for broad academic success in reading, math, and language.

Celebration #3 Reading & Logic - Once limited to reading a single paragraph in 3rd grade while her classmates completed entire stories, she now hears comments like, “You don’t have dyslexia—you couldn’t have written this,” in response to her exceptional work. Now in eighth grade, she continues to exceed expectations, often prompting educators to question her performance because it far surpasses that of peers with similar learning differences who have not received the same level of targeted intervention that she received at Fit Learning. Today, she is a confident, high-achieving student with a bright future.

Celebration #2 Math - 50 hours of penmanship and 150 hours of math intervention—an incredible investment that has paid off in a big way! This 4th-grade learner has made an inspiring leap from a 1st-grade level to grade-level performance. Even more exciting, his parents report that he no longer qualifies for services as a student with a learning disability in math. What an amazing achievement. Way to go!!!
