Dog-Eared Little Free Library

I thought about holding back Remarkably Bright Creatures for our ocean theme, but I decided we should share it now… before the movie comes out. If you’ve read it, what are your thoughts?

I also tucked in an Abby Jimenez book that I enjoyed. It’s the first of a series, and I will be reading the second one on today’s flights to Oklahoma. If you’re a person of prayer, will you pray for my family? We lost a funny, talented, generous person yesterday. We knew it was coming, but it’s always too soon.

I saw a few ants in the library, so I added drops of peppermint oil.

It’s from 10 am to 2 pm on Lakewood Drive, right behind the little library. We welcome houseplants, vegetable starts, flowers, planters… pretty much anything garden-related. ♥️ Hope to see you there — and bring friends!

L👀K what we have… new books to browse! Also, would someone like to volunteer to help secure this hammerhead shark’s “hammer?” I’d love to use it for our ocean theme, but if I try to sew it, it will be very obvious that I don’t know what I am doing! 🤣

We’ve got a library refresh! I switched things around and rotated in new books. (We could use some more children’s books, though.) Now that the weather is warmer, I will rotate things more often! Enjoy! 🩷
