This November, Excelsior Communities was proud to collect food donations across seven of our properties in the Rochester area. Thanks to the generosity of our residents and neighbors, we gathered an incredible 664 pounds of food for the Brighton Food Cupboard (more than what's pictured!).

Excelsior Communities is excited to continue investing in Rochester’s growth. Our latest project at the nearly 100-year-old Columbus Building in downtown Rochester will transform three underused commercial floors into 30 additional apartment homes, expanding the building from 101 to 131 units.

By converting vacant commercial space into renovated housing, we’re helping breath new life into a historic building while meeting the rising demand for quality homes in the heart of the city. The project also includes a refreshed lobby and hallways, plus the reopening of an on-site fitness club.

This $7.9 million renovation will revitalize a long-static space, and contribute to a more bustling, livable downtown.
