Did you know: 85% of brain development occurs before children start kindergarten? That’s part of why access to Early Intervention (EI) services is so crucial for families.

EI provides evaluations & services to children under age 3 with developmental delays & disabilities. This can include speech therapy, physical therapy, & more.

Approx. 150,000 NY children ages 0 – 5 years are eligible for EI & Preschool Special Education because of identified developmental delays or disabilities.

But low reimbursement rates helped cause New York to lose 15% of its EI providers between 2019 and 2021.

We need to get EI services back on-track because to receive the care & support they need to succeed. Urge Gov. Hochul to take action here: bit.ly/CCC-EI
